Tazos in 2025?! Harry Potter Coles Magical Discs Checklist & Bonus Tips

Recently Coles has introduced a wave of ’90s nostalgia with its latest promotion—Harry Potter Magical Discs. For every $30 you spend in-store or online, you’ll receive a pack containing two themed collectible discs.

Coles Magical Discs Checklist

The entire collection boasts 72 unique discs, including four special editions (Year One Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Dumbledore) and one elusive rare disc (Golden Snitch). To aid collectors, Coles has introduced a Harry Potter collector’s album priced at $10, designed to simplify and easier your collecting. The album categorizes the discs into nine distinct colour groups:

  • Discs 1-13 (Orange): Harry & Friends
  • Discs 14-22 (Navy Blue): Hogwarts
  • Discs 23-30 (Pink): Magical Friendships
  • Discs 31-37 (Purple): Creatures
  • Discs 38-46 (Bright Blue): Magical Memorabilia
  • Discs 47-53 (Black): Dark Arts
  • Discs 54-63 (Green): Magical Places
  • Discs 64-68 (Red): Crests & Shields
  • Discs 69-72 (Gold): Special Edition
Coles Magical Discs pack: it’s smaller than I thought!
(The Tazos I got: it’s clear that some characters have a higher chance…)
(The rare edition: Golden Snitch, but this rare one is not include in the collector’s album )

Harry Potter Gringotts Galleon Holder

In addition to the collection album, this time Coles also released a Harry Potter Gringotts Galleon Holder, which is the product I won’t recommend! It looks extremely cheap!

This set includes a durable Zinc Alloy Gringotts Galleon and an FSC-certified cardboard tube that holds up to 40 Magical Discs
It also features the “Keeper of the Vault” game on the package back, but still could’t make this set looks worthy

Compared to the Harry Potter collectable campaign in Coles 2022, this year’s campaign might be more fun cos it is just like tazos! You can also link the discs, stack them, trade them, or challenge other collectors to a duel using the points printed on each disc! But if just compare appearance alone, tazos don’t seem as cute as the previous builders. The good news is you don’t have to worry about getting duplicate packs this time—nobody’s going to complain about having too many Tazos to play with!

Additionally, this collection campaign aims to encourage kids to eat more fruits and vegetables! However, the cost-of-living crisis might make the collection easier! Because only buying two days of fresh fruits and veggies could earn plenty of discs. It sounds ridiculous, but it’s true!

How to get Harry Potter Discs?

Shoppers will receive one Coles Magical 2 Disc Pack for every $30 spent in a single transaction at Coles Supermarkets or online, with a maximum of 20 packs per online transaction. Purchases at Coles Express and certain items, such as gift cards, tobacco, liquor, and delivery fees, are excluded. Qualifying spend is calculated after all discounts are applied.

How to get as many Harry Potter Discs as possible in one transaction?

If you want to collect as many discs as possible, try purchasing items marked with a bonus! Here is the bonus brand list:

when you spend $30 in a single transaction and buy a selected product from this participating brand list, you’ll get one bonus Coles Magical 2 Disc Pack. Only one bonus pack is allowed per participating brand or range per transaction.

I also recommend waiting for the double bonus day. Coles hasn’t announced the exact dates for this year, but I don’t mind collecting a few days later. I’ll never forget the last Harry Potter campaign when I got a huge stack of builders on the double bonus day!
