The AFL Integrity Unit has launched an investigation into Adelaide Crows star Izak Rankine following allegations that he used a homophobic slur during Saturday night’s clash with Collingwood.

“Obviously, it is not ideal, but it is in the AFL’s hands. It is being investigated, and we will see what happens,” Dawson said.
When asked whether the incident pointed to a cultural issue at the club, he dismissed the suggestion, saying: “No, I don’t think so.”
